EQARF – European Quality Assurance Reference Framework

In June 2009 the European Quality Assurance Reference Framework was adopted by the European Parliament and the Council. This common framework encourages member states to establish national reference points for quality in VET.
ARQA-VET as the Austrian reference point has, according to the Framework Recommendation, the following tasks, i. e. it should:

• keep a wide range of stakeholders informed about the activities of the European network (EQAVET);
• actively support the implementation of the network’s work programme;
• introduce concrete steps in order to promote the further development of the Framework in the national context.

ARQA-VET as one of the most established reference points in the European network is strongly involved in the work of EQAVET (European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training).
